This morning I woke up singing in my heart, "Hosanna in the highest. Let our King be lifted up. Hosanna." I felt unspeakable joy and peace. I knew God was enlightening me to something. Then I heard the Lord say, "Ask Carlos (my hubby) if he woke up with a song in his heart." So I did and Carlos said, "Yes I did," and he began to sing, "Be lifted higher, be lifter higher..." It was the same song God had given me! I was in awe!
For the next long moment, we played the song and worshipped the Lord and as I began to declare His goodness and promises over our lives, I felt fear hindering me from believing in His Word. I recognized the fear because in the moment I felt peace and joy but couldn't stay in it. Fear kept me from walking in peace and joy. As soon as I recognized it, I asked Carlos to pray over me and break fear with me in Jesus' name! As my husband, the spiritual head of our family, began to pray over me and release God's Word over me (wash me in the Word), I felt a release, breakthrough, and freedom. It was powerful! Then, we prayed healing over a loved one and believe our loved one is completely healed on earth as it is in heaven.
As I reflected on why the Lord may have given us the song, I remembered in the Bible when God's people shouted, "Hosanna." They shouted Hosanna during Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, a week before His death and resurrection. I sense the Lord is telling us that He is here! He is here to save, set us free, deliver, and heal us! For all those who call upon Jesus shall be saved! Hosanna means save us!
