Salvation & Deliverance is Here!

This morning I woke up singing, "Hosanna in the highest. Let our King be lifted up. Hosanna." I felt unspeakable joy and peace. I knew God was enlightening me to something. Then I heard the Lord say, "Ask Carlos (my hubby) if he woke up with a song in his heart." So I did and Carlos said, "Yes, I did," and he began to sing, "Be lifted higher, be lifted higher..." It was the same song God had given me! I was in awe!

For the next long moment, we played the song and worshipped the Lord. As I began to declare His goodness and promises over our lives, I felt fear creeping in, trying to hinder my belief in His Word. It was a strange contrast; I could sense peace and joy, yet I couldn’t fully remain in that moment. Fear was holding me back from walking in the fullness of His peace and joy.

The moment I recognized it, I turned to Carlos and asked him to pray over me, to stand with me in breaking fear in Jesus’ name. As my husband and the spiritual head of our family, he began to pray and declare God’s Word over me, washing me in the truth of Scripture. As he prayed, I felt a shift. A release. A breakthrough. Freedom. It was powerful!

Filled with renewed faith, we then prayed for healing over a loved one, believing wholeheartedly that they are completely healed, on earth as it is in heaven.

As I reflected on why the Lord had given us that song, I was reminded of the moment in Scripture when God’s people cried out, “Hosanna!” during Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, just days before His death and resurrection. Hosanna means save us! I sense the Lord is reminding us: He is here! He is here to save, to set us free, to deliver, and to heal. For all who call upon the name of Jesus shall be saved!
