Every year, for the first 21 days, my husband and I give our first fruits to the Lord through prayer and fasting. We consider these days set apart, holy to the Lord; it is a form of worship to God and a moment to partake of His table; to dive into the Word, receive all that He gives us, and hear His heart about anything He is willing to share with us.
One day during our fast, I asked the Lord to speak to me about Syracuse. I heard the Lord say, "The word for Syracuse in this new year is 'rebuilding.'" His heart's desire is to rebuild His church in Syracuse - people, and He said, "Syracuse will experience breakthrough through the young generation. The young generation will break the yoke."
The Church, in Syracuse, needs to get in the secret place, get in the Word, hear what God is saying about now, and go when He says to go and do what He says to do, but we have to do so with a posture of unity, humility, and teachability.
I pray we hear what the Spirit is saying and bodly obey His voice including His whispers.
